RedM Trash Bin Loot Script Poggy Trash Bins

Searchable trash bins with randomised loot and persistent shared storage, 33 preset locations and automatic detection of bin props across the map.

Search, Loot & Stash — Immersive Trash Bin Interactions for RedM

poggy trash bins

Give your players a reason to rummage through the streets. Poggy Trash Bins adds fully interactive trash bins across the map that can be searched for randomised loot and used as shared world storage. Every bin has its own persistent VORP inventory — perfect for dead-drops, stash spots, or just seeing what some stranger left behind.

Features

  • Randomised Loot System — Players search bins with a timed animation and progress bar. Items are rolled from a single, configurable loot table with individual drop chances and amount ranges. Cap the max items found per search to keep the economy balanced.
  • Persistent Shared Storage — Every bin has its own VORP custom inventory accessible by any player. Items stay until someone takes them — or until staff wipe.
  • Auto-Detection — Enable automatic scanning of the world for existing trash bin props. The script finds them and registers them as interactable — zero coordinate entry required.
  • 33 Pre-configured Locations — Ships ready to go with bins across Valentine, Annesburg, Strawberry, Blackwater, Saint Denis, Tumbleweed, Armadillo, Wallace Station, Flatneck Station, and more.
  • Anti-Exploit Measures — Proximity check blocks interaction when another player is too close. Server-side distance validation and cooldown enforcement prevent abuse.
  • Cooldown System — Each bin has a randomised cooldown window between searches (configurable min/max).
  • Staff Wipe Command — Authorised groups can clear every bin inventory on the server with one command, live.
  • Discord Logging — Optional webhook integration logs who searched what and where.
  • Built-in NUI Progress Bar — Clean, styled progress bar included. No external dependency needed — or disable it and hook your own.
  • Map Blips — Optional blip markers on the map for all bin locations.
  • Fully Open Config — Loot tables, locations, keys, cooldowns, staff groups, translations — everything in one file, not escrowed.

Configuration Highlights

Everything is controlled through a single config.lua:

  • Shared Loot Pool — One table for all bins. Add or remove items, set drop chances (1–100), and control min/max amounts.
  • Bin Locations — Add new bins with just a coordinate and a unique storage ID. Toggle prop spawning per location.
  • Auto-Detect Models — Specify which prop model names to scan for. Extend the list as needed.
  • Cooldowns & Timers — Fine-tune search cooldowns and animation duration with min/max ranges.
  • Staff Tools — Define which permission groups can use the wipe command.
  • Translations — All player-facing strings are configurable for localisation.

Questions about Poggy Trash Bins

How does the loot work?

Players search a bin with a timed animation and progress bar. Items are rolled from one configurable loot table with individual drop chances and amount ranges, with a cap on items per search and a randomised cooldown per bin.

Can bins be used as stashes?

Yes. Every bin has its own persistent stash in your framework's inventory that any player can open, which makes them dead-drops and stash spots. Staff can wipe every bin on the server with one command.

Do I have to enter coordinates?

No. 33 locations ship ready to go across Valentine, Annesburg, Strawberry, Blackwater, Saint Denis, Tumbleweed, Armadillo and more, and auto-detection can register existing trash-bin props with no coordinate entry.

What is open and what is escrowed?

config.lua is fully open: loot tables, locations, keys, cooldowns, staff groups and translations. client.lua and server.lua are escrowed.

Which frameworks does Poggy Trash Bins work with?

Poggy Trash Bins works with VORP Core, RSG Core and QBCore RedM through poggy_core, which detects the framework at runtime and has a proven adapter for each, so there is one build and nothing to configure. It requires poggy_core (free), oxmysql and your framework (VORP Core, RSG Core or QBCore RedM).

How is Poggy Trash Bins delivered after I pay?

Instantly. Checkout runs through Tebex, which asks you to sign in with your Cfx.re account before items can be added to the basket, and the licence is tied to that Cfx.re account rather than a key to paste.

Does Poggy Trash Bins get updates?

Yes. It runs on Poggy, a live RedM server, and updates are included with every licence. Support is in the Poggy Discord.
